JINI SCOVILLE

Born to a family of musicians, a veteran of the show choir world (think Glee) and an L.A. native, Jini has never been a stranger to the spotlight . She attended the University of North Texas, studying classical Vocal Performance, Vocal Jazz, and Music Education.

During college, she toured with UNT's A Cappella Choir and refined her stage skills by taking on musical theater roles during the summers.

After college, Jini became a lead Production Vocalist for Stiletto Entertainment on Holland America Cruises, later making her home at sea with Princess, Carnival, Asuka, and Regent Seven Seas, and Oceania cruise lines as well. In between her stints at sea, she starred in world premiere musicals, such as Tree of Hope: The Frida Khalo Story [La Pelona], led top 40 bands and jazz ensembles, and even worked at Disneyland during the holidays, spreading holiday cheer through song. Jini has spent years sharing her voice with audiences all over the world. From musical theater to the bandstand and everything in between, some of her favorite projects include starring in the spectacular Big Band Beat show at Tokyo DisneySea and her sassy turn as the diva Emcee in Paradis, a modern showgirl spectacular created by Patti Wilcox (choreographer for Motown The Musical).
